Contrary to views being expressed at some quarters that Asante Kotoko underrated their opponents, Mighty Jets in last Wednesday’s Glo Premier League match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Amos Frimpong who featured prominently in the game insists that Kotoko faced Mighty Jets well prepared with no sense of complacency.

According to the hard working defender, Mighty Jets came to Kumasi determined to win, a situation he described as nothing new.

He further explained that any side that faces Kotoko prepares and performs well too.

“While at our former clubs, we always prepared differently for Kotoko matches. That is what Mighty Jets did. They fought well. We beat them because we were committed to winning at all cost. We did not underrate them. Rather, they gave us a difficult challenge” said Amos.

“This is the more reason why we the players have committed ourselves never to underrate any club. We are resolved and committed to playing to win any match that we would play,” he said.
