BARCC ready to host Kotoko

The leadership of the
Brong Ahafo Regional Circles
Council (BARCC) says they are ready to host Kumasi Asante Kotoko
as the club treks to their region this weekend to play as guests
of Berekum Arsenals in the 5th week, 2011/2012 Glo Premier
League encounter at the Golden City Park.
The Berekum team has been playing away from
home since the start of the new season as a result of a
three-match home ban that was placed by the Ghana Football
Association last season following acts of violence in a league
match against Liberty Professionals.
They have therefore been playing in Cape Coast
since the beginning of this season. The clash with Kotoko on
Sunday marks their return to their favourite ground – a match in
which pundits have termed as the weekend’s top liner.
In line with a National Circles Council
directive, the BARCC met earlier this week in Sunyani to plan
for Kotoko’s arrival. Deputy Public Relations Officer of the
BARCC, Nana Agyenim-Boateng after the meeting disclosed to
Kotoko Express that Chairman of the BARCC, Kennedy Anyan and the
group resolve to foot the team’s accommodation bills when they
come.
“The BARCC also wishes to assure the
management and its teeming supporters of the club that
everything is under control as far as our match against Berekum
Arsenal is concerned. We are also using this opportunity to
advise our teeming supporters to comport themselves before,
during and after the match” said Nana Agyenim-Boateng.
