Toure gives to Tema Muslim brothers

Newly crowned Glo Premier League and the MTN
FA Cup most valuable player,
Ahmed Toure, last Friday made a
special presentation to the Muslim community at the Tema
Community 7 Central Mosque.
The Kotoko top marksman who had just returned from the club’s
pre-season training tour of Serbia a day earlier donated
assorted items including bags of rice, sugar, milk and other
beverages worth GHC1,000 to his Muslim brothers at Tema.
The gesture was the player’s sign of appreciation for their
prayers and solidarity during the month of Ramadan. Toure, a
devoted Muslim was accompanied by Tema based Alhaji Lamin, a
director of Kotoko to the mosque to thank God for his mercies
and blessings during the season which helped him annex the
premiership MVP award.
The Chief Imam of the Tema Community 7 Central Mosque thanked
Ahmed Toure for the gesture and offered special prayers for the
player as well as Asante Kotoko.
