Asante Kotoko Tanzania Tournament Postponed Till Further Notice

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's participation in a four-team tournament
in Tanzania, Southern Africa have been postponed by the event
organisers.
The two-day tournament which also included Accra Hearts Of Oak
was scheduled to begin this Saturday at the National Stadium.
Asante Kotoko's delegation was to join others from the other competing clubs in Dar al Salaam
on the 4th of July 2011 for the launch of the
tournament and the unveiling of the tournament trophy.
The launch of the tournament was to pave the
way for the arrival of the competing teams with Kotoko scheduled
to arrive in the Tanzanian capital on 14 July 2011.
Asante Kotoko was expected to send a
thirty member contingent made up of players, technical staff,
management and a Kotoko Express reporter.
Newly crowned Kagame Castle Cup champions Young Africans and
six-time Cecafa Cup kings Simba were also scheduled to feature
in the tournament.
Once a date is set for the tournament to go ahead, Asante Kotoko
will honour its invite.
