Supporters’

Despite note having a pleasant
season, supporters of Fabulous Asante Kotoko have been urged to
take heart and look at the brighter side of what next season
brings.
They have
also been encouraged not to fall to any taunts and provocation
from supporters of other clubs who would like to make a big meal
out of the challenging season Kotoko had.
These
were what George Amponsah-Duodu told Kotoko Express when the
paper approached to sample his views on the lost to Nania FC.
According
to him, the performance of the team in the final match was
indeed an anti-climax to the resurgence in performance that the
team displayed in the second round of the season.
“The way
the inclusion of additional players improved the performance of
the team in the second round has been completely destroyed by
the defeat to Nania”.
“However,
I will say all is not lost. Fans should rather stay strong and
united and support Dr. Sarpong to recruit some players to beef
up the team whilst we look up to a better next season”.
“I
empathize with the fans who will definitely be worried with the
way things have turned out, but I believe the challenges of this
season are tests of our character and so we should be able to
live up and surmount the challenges,” he concluded.
