Members of Lion Circle 106 of
Tachiman in the Brong Ahafo Region concretized their
determination to be part of the historic construction of
Changing rooms and technical staff offices at the Adarko Jarchie
training grounds by redeeming their pledge.
During
the ground breaking ceremony performed by Daasebre Osei Bonsu,
the Mamponghene, on behalf of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II,
Lion Circle 106 was among the various groups and individuals who
pledged to contribute in cash and in building materials.
On their
part, they pledged to contribute ten bags of cement to the
project, but last when it came to its redemption, they topped up
their pledge with one more bag to make it eleven bags.
In
fulfilment of the pledge, they last Friday presented GH¢200.
Receiving the money from Tanko Mohamed (chairman) and Armstrong
Frimpong-Addo (PRO), the special assistant to the Executive
Chairman, Lord Zico Opoku Nti, in the company of his close pal,
George Kennedy, thanked the Techiman Circle for the speed with
which they have redeemed their pledge.
He urged
others who also made pledges to emulate the example of Lion
Circle 160 and bring in whatever they promised.
