Striker Nathaniel Asamoah could miss this weekend’s last match of the Glo Premier League fixture away to Medeama FC if he is unable to regain his fitness by the close of Friday.

The Kotoko goal poacher could not finish the home match against Liberty Professionals because of an ankle injury. The medical team has been keeping an eye on the attacker since then.

Checks with team Dr. Kwaku Boateng has revealed that Nat is not completely fit for action and that he would need some more days to be fine.

“His injury is not too serious but then he is also not likely to play on Sunday” said Dr. Kwaku Boateng who added that Nathaniel Asamoah as of Wednesday evening was 30-45 percent fit for action.

The team doctor further disclosed that the striker would need some days off to rest if he becomes 60 percent fit by the weekend.
