Former Asante Kotoko captain, Godwin Ablordey is set to return to the club he diligently served. This time in the capacity as Team Manager.

Administrative and Acting Public Affairs Manager, Benjamin Nti who confirmed this in an interview said the former player would be around to take up the Team Manager’s job at the beginning of next season.

Ablordey who joined Kotoko in the 1998/1999 season was instrumental in the club’s successes during the Herbert Mensah administration.

He left Kotoko in 2003 for city rivals King Faisal before continuing his career in the Arab world. He now plays for Cape Coast mysterious Abusua Dwarfs but from next season, Ablordey will be back to the place where he won many admirers.
