BEHAVIOUR OF ALHAJI KARIM GRUNSAH DURING GLO PREMIER LEAGUE
MATCH AT BABA YARA STADIUM ON 10 APRIL, 2011
Date: 12-04-11
The
management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC would like to put on
record our utter disgust at the un-gentlemanly and uncouth
behaviour of the President of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji
Karim Grunsah, during the Glo Premier League match at the Baba
Yara Stadium on Sunday, 10 April, 2011.
Alhaji
Grunsah spent the whole period whilst he was at the stadium
insulting every official and operative of Kotoko he came across
and succeeded in creating disorder and chaos in the inner
perimeter and the VVIP box during the course of the game.
We have
taken note that this is not the first time and this re-occurring
behaviour goes a long way to bring the game into disrepute.
He has
also continually maligned officials of the club on radio and in
any available medium without provocation.
We would
like to state that his unruly behaviour cannot be countenanced
any longer. In future, such unprovoked insults and disrespect
towards our beloved Club would be met with similar or in some
instances venom disproportionate to the original action by
Alhaji Grunsah.
We hope
that this would serve as a final warning to Alhaji Grunsah and
his like that the days when Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC Ltd allowed
irresponsible people to insult and disrespect the club without
reacting are over.
Thank
you.
Signed
K.K.
