Kotoko Coach Bogdan Korak has firmly
defended his preparation for last Sunday’s Glo Premier League
game away to Hearts of Oak by saying that everything the
technical team did prior to the match paid off.
The coach said he put his players through
rigorous training regimes, which as a result made them stronger
and prepared to take on the Phobians beyond 90 minutes.
“I am happy for the result. I can see
everybody is happy. The supporters and the players, we are all
happy. Slobodan and I looked at what will help the team. We came
together and trained hard for the match”.
“My players responded well at training, and
they delivered the result,” said Bogdan Korak in a post match
interview.
The coach commended his players for their
hard work as well as the team’s good performance.
“The match was good. The team played well.
The tension was there but they delivered the right result. I am
happy and everybody is happy that we won,” he added and assured
that he would stick to his training schedule to get the best out
of the players.
“We have players in good condition. They are
well discipline. That is good for the team. There will be more
hard work, hard training, and more good play. I hope to get
Kotoko playing better and better”.
Korak who also praised Hearts for the
strength they showed on the afternoon and admitted that his
opponents somewhat brought the best out of his team.
“If they were not good, nobody would have
seen how good Kotoko is; there was good play by Hearts but
Kotoko was better. I wish them well and hope to play them
another time,” he said.
