For their apt decision to partner Kotoko as their insurance sponsors, International Energy Insurance Company Limited (IEI) has received the full blessing of the owner, life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II the Asantehene.

The event was at the Manhyia Palace last Thursday, when the Executive Chairman, Dr. K. K. Sarpong took the team of IEI managers to formally inform the King of the agreement.

Highly pleased with the package being offered to the his club, the King, speaking through his linguist gave a full assurance to the MD/ CEO of IEI, Mr. Uche Okugo and his team of managers at the Palace that their investment on Kotoko would not go waste.

“I want to thank you for honouring me with the sponsorship of my club. When you do any good thing for the club, you do for me and also the Golden Stool, and any individual or organisation that faithfully serves the Golden Stool gets rewarded in many fold through blessing and business success”.

“My vision for the club is to make it the best in the country and beyond and so I welcome any one who partners my club to make my vision a reality”.

“Be assured that Asanteman is solidly behind your business and your clientele would be bountifully increased”.

On his part, the leader of the IEI delegation, Uche Okugo, thanked Otumfuo for the warm reception his company has received in the Asante kingdom.

“Since the beginning of our Kumasi branch office two years ago, we have never felt as strangers at all and all is because of the love and warm welcome the people of your kingdom have given us”.

“Now that we are partnering your club, we know and are sure that we will get an even bigger acceptance from the people of Asante”.

“We are honoured to be in your presence and will continue to come here to seek your wife counsel whenever the need arises,” Uche added.

In line with tradition, the delegation presented assortment of drinks to Otumfuo for granting them the audience.
