Kotoko Spokesman, Jarvis Peprah, has described the preparation
of the team for the second round of the Glo Premier League as
low key but also insists however that it would be stepped up in
time before the league restarts next month.
Jarvis
Peprah has said in an interview that it was important to plan
well for the second round and that both management and the
technical team have been doing what is expected of them to
ensure that team bounced back in style.
He
indicated that management and the technical team have been
“working up a programme” which would give the team what it takes
to tackle the second round of the competition.
Conceding
that the team would have to work harder than they did in the
first round he called on the teeming supporters not to be
apprehensive and says, “what would be needed most is their
support at the stadium and also in any form that would benefit
the club”.
“They do
not have to panic because the technical team has been working on
the team’s physical condition. We are confident that things
would go well when the league resumes,” said the affable
spokesperson.
Jarvis
also says the communications desk of the club would continue
liaising with the technical team to furnish supporters with
up-to-date news the team’s preparation for the resumption of the
league.
Commenting on transfer issues, Jarvis Peprah said it was
necessary to prune the size of the team. He revealed that
management was working around the clock to ensure that the
transfer players continue their career elsewhere.
He
further disclosed that striker Gado Mohammed would settle at
Edubiase FC whereas defender George Asare ends up at Berekum
Arsenal.
Goalkeeper Saani Mohammed according to the spokesman was on his
way to Western Giants Sekondi Hasaacas. |
