Coach Addo sure of victory
Coach Herbert Addo has announced
that his team will emerge victorious in Wednesday’s Glo Premier
League match against Bechem Chelsea but his opposite colleague,
Kobina Amissah, thinks otherwise.
According to Kobina Amissah, even
though he believes that Kotoko has a huge pedigree, he argues
that Bechem Chelsea’s underdog status puts them in a better
stead to win the game.
Coach Addo who commented on the
match after beating All Stars 1-0 on Sunday said given the right
conditions, Kotoko will emerge victorious in Sunyani.
“I do not know anything about
Bechem Chelsea except to say that they are a good team, they
play at Sunyani and they will also want to win at home”.
“I know we would have a hard game.
I am going to prepare the boys well. Fortunately, when we will
play on a good pitch and there is fair officiating, we do well.
We will win but it will be difficult game,” Herbert Addo said.
Coach Amissah on the other hand
says he sees the match as a normal match that does not need any
special preparations.
“We are not preparing any differently because
Kotoko is one of the premier clubs. It is going to be a normal
game. We respect Kotoko but we are sure to beat them on
Wednesday".
"Coach
Herbert Addo is a senior colleague. I know him very well. Coach
Opeele is also my friend but all these will be put aside when
the whistle goes for the start of the game. We are going to beat
Kotoko” he predicted |
